Regina Wood is a litigator who is skilled across all phases of complex commercial litigation, including motion practice, discovery, expert analysis, and trial. She was a key member of the trial team in a seven-week federal jury trial that won a $394 million verdict, which is believed to be the largest civil verdict in Michigan history. She also played a significant role in a one-week federal jury trial on breach of contract claims that resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict.
Regina maintains an active pro bono practice. In 2021, she led a team that received the Pro Bono Superstar Award from the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation. Regina received her BA, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Notre Dame in 2014. She received her JD in 2017 from the University of Chicago Law School. In law school, Regina served as a student attorney in the Exoneration Project clinic, where she co-wrote a post-conviction pleading that led to the successful release and exoneration of her client. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly in the US District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
