As a summer associate at Jenner, Raana conducted research, briefed trial teams on predicted outcomes of evidentiary issues, and wrote pre-trial motions. Prior to joining the firm, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Manish S. Shah in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.
Raana earned her JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she competed on the trial team. In recognition of her oral and written advocacy work, she was inducted to the Order of the Barristers. She was also an associate editor of the California Law Review, served on the board of the Woman of Berkeley Law, and participated in pro bono projects including the La Alianza Workers’ & Tenants’ Rights Clinic and the Reproductive Justice Project (RJP).
