A corporate and securities law attorney, Paul Jock has advised both investors in and sponsors of venture capital and other private equity, private real estate and hedge fund investment vehicles; open and closed-end registered investment company clients and their boards of directors; and registered and unregistered investment advisory firms and employee benefit plans.
From 2000 to 2005, Paul was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and a director and member of the Executive Committee of General Motors Asset Management, an investment advisory firm with over $100 billion in assets under management. He was a member of the firm’s Private Equity, Real Estate, and Absolute Return Strategies Investment Approval committees.
Paul was a partner at an international law firm from 1976 until 2001. During 1981, he served as a Vice President of Tribune Company, a diversified communications company headquartered in Chicago.
