Maura received her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she served as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and as a student attorney in both the Election Law Clinic and the Immigration Clinic. Her clinical experiences focused on federal civil rights litigation, defending the voting rights of minority voters and the due process rights of immigrant youth in the Boston community. Between semesters, Maura also served as an intern for the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project and as a removal defense intern at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES). Prior to law school, Maura conducted policy research as a Fulbright Scholar in Madrid, Spain and interned at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Medellin, Colombia.
