Matthew Schaible is an associate in the firm’s Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice. Matthew helps clients navigate government investigations, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations. His practice focuses on federal and state enforcement authorities and other public-facing risks.

Before joining Jenner & Block, Matthew represented public and private companies in internal investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, and complex commercial litigation. During law school, he clerked in the White House Counsel’s Office and the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, experiences which inform his understanding of government decision-making and enforcement. Before law school, Matthew spent several years at the Human Rights Campaign, where he led various civic engagement and policy initiatives.
