Kate earned her JD from Columbia Law School. While studying, Kate completed an internship at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and an externship in the Administrative Law Division of the New York City Law Department. Additionally, she served as the articles editor for the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and as treasurer for the Environmental Law Society. Prior to law school, Kate worked with the National Park Service as an AmeriCorps member monitoring vegetation and soil health in Texas and New Mexico.
