Kathy Olivi has 10-plus years of discovery-focused experience with Jenner & Block, including Relativity, drafting protocols, supervising discovery teams, privilege review and logging, and client interview preparation. Kathy assists with clients’ complex discovery needs in relation to bankruptcies and monitorships, high-stakes commercial disputes, class actions, government-initiated and internal investigations, and civil and criminal white-collar defense.
Previously, Kathy served in the Consumer Protection Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office during the tenures of four elected officials. As senior assistant, she investigated and prosecuted deceptive business practices to obtain injunctive relief and civil penalties, represented Illinois on working groups, and authored laws including the Illinois Automobile Advertising Regulations. Kathy thereafter joined a large west coast firm as a special counsel, representing clients navigating singular and multistate regulatory actions on matters including mortgage lending, marketing, consumer finance and privacy.
