Julie Li is the Director of Administration of Jenner & Block's San Francisco office, where she partners with lawyers, firm leadership, and professional staff to build efficient, people-centered operations. Julie ensures that the people and systems supporting the firm's work are running at their best by directing the service teams that support the overall functioning of the San Francisco office, spanning lawyer support, office operations, hospitality, facilities, budget management and oversight, talent development, and the execution of key firmwide programs and initiatives.

Before joining Jenner & Block in 2021, she gained operational and strategic experience at the highest levels of California state government, serving as a special assistant to Governor Gavin Newsom’s Chief of Staff and playing a key role in standing up the Governor-Elect’s Transition. She also spent several years at a public affairs firm, developing policy research and stakeholder communications. Julie holds dual bachelor's degrees in political science and women and gender studies from California State University, Sacramento, where she graduated cum laude.
