Josh helps clients tackle high-stakes legal matters, from complex commercial disputes to novel questions of constitutional law and statutory interpretation. With broad experience at every level of the court system, Josh understands both how to navigate the rough-and-tumble of trial litigation and how the issues developed early in a case are likely to play out on appeal.
Josh’s practice spans a wide variety of industries, including hospitality, real estate, transportation, telecommunications, and the financial sector. In addition to litigation and counseling, Josh represents clients in rulemaking proceedings before administrative agencies, often with an eye toward potential litigation. In his pro bono practice, Josh is a tireless advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and for vulnerable clients seeking emergency immigration relief.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Josh served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gerard E. Lynch of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. In his year as a district court clerk, Josh was assigned to six trials, two of them in highly complex class actions.
