Jenny Beach represents clients in complex and high-stakes litigation matters. She helps clients achieve favorable results in actions brought under ERISA, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, as well as in cases involving business and contract disputes. Jenny handles individual and class action lawsuits, at the trial and appellate level, as well as during pre-suit counseling, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Jenny’s ERISA experience is broad and includes matters involving retirement and health and welfare plans. She has represented clients in claims alleging breaches of fiduciary duty, the wrongful denial and termination of benefits, prohibited transactions, and involving complicated issues of ERISA preemption. Jenny regularly writes on ERISA litigation topics; she is a co-editor of the firm’s ERISA Litigation Handbook and a contributing author to PLI's ERISA Benefits Litigation Answer Book. She is a member of the Law360 Benefits Editorial Advisory Board.
Jenny has a robust pro bono practice in the areas of immigration and family law, most recently representing clients seeking asylum and U-Visas. She is active in her Chicago community and served on the advisory board of Girls in the Game for four years.
