Jeff S.Berman

Jeff Berman’s decades of experience in law, politics, policy, and business give him deep insight into the challenges and opportunities that businesses face, from start-ups to some of the most well-known and established organizations and international corporations.

Starting his career as a public defender in Washington, DC, Jeff later served as Chief Counsel to US Senator Chuck Schumer and in a number of leadership roles in the private sector. Jeff has worked across issues and industries, including major media and tech companies, professional sports organizations, government, and others.

Jeff draws on his unique background in both the private and public sectors to support Jenner’s work with venture-backed companies, mainly in Southern California, and their specialized needs, including in the emerging world of artificial intelligence.

In line with Jenner’s values, Jeff helped launch and continues to serve on the board of Protect Democracy, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect American democracy for future generations.
