Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Idun Klakegg clerked for the Honorable Wilhelmina M. Wright of the United States District Court for District of Minnesota and for the Honorable Susan M. Carney of the Alaska Supreme Court. As a law student at Columbia Law School, she was a James Kent Scholar and served as the executive articles editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. Idun participated in the Mediation Clinic, where she mediated disputes in state court and before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Idun also served as a research and teaching assistant for Professor Suzanne Goldberg.

Before attending law school, Idun worked as a litigation paralegal at a large law firm in Washington, DC. She earned her undergraduate degree from Haverford College in 2015 with a degree in political science.
