Ian earned his JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as co-managing editor of The Network blog for the Berkeley Business Law Journal (BBLJ). While completing his studies, he competed as a member of the law school’s Board of Advocates Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team and externed for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ian graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in political science, with honors. While at UChicago, Ian was a member of the school’s baseball team and received the J. Kyle Anderson Leadership Award, which is given to one senior on the team each season. Before law school, Ian worked at an AmLaw 100 firm as a paralegal.
