Danny Schwarz is a seasoned communications executive with nearly two decades of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, issue and crisis management, media relations, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement. As Chief Communications Officer of Jenner & Block, he oversees the firm’s integrated communications and engagement function, collaborating with senior leaders across the firm on complex projects and initiatives with internal and external audiences. Danny specializes in developing impactful strategies that manage key stakeholder and reputational priorities.
Before joining the firm, Danny served as Head of US Public Affairs at Hill & Knowlton and Senior Vice President in the Corporate & Public Affairs practice at Burson. Prior to that, he led communications for the US House Judiciary Committee from 2018 to 2021, managing high-profile national issues and shaping public engagement on matters involving government oversight, civil rights, immigration, antitrust, intellectual property, the Department of Justice, and outside advocacy groups. Throughout his career, Danny has advised governmental, corporate, and nonprofit clients in the United States and internationally, leading communications, advocacy, and reputation management initiatives across a broad range of sectors.
Danny’s background includes extensive experience in issues and crisis management, public relations, leadership communications, and media strategy. In addition, he has played senior roles in more than 20 political campaigns across eight countries, overseeing messaging, media, research, advertising, and rapid response efforts.
Danny holds a BA from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics.
