Chris Baumohl is an associate in Jenner & Block’s Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris served as a law clerk for the Honorable Reggie B. Walton at the US District Court for the District of Columbia. Before serving as a clerk, Chris was a Law Fellow at the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), where he focused on surveillance oversight issues. His work at EPIC included coordinating coalition advocacy efforts, providing technical assistance on draft legislation, and drafting strategic amicus briefs, FOIA requests, and regulatory comments.
Chris received his JD, summa cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where he was a Public Interest/Public Service (PIPS) Scholar. During law school, Chris was a member of the American University Law Review and the Moot Court Honor Society. He earned a B. from Tufts University and an MA from American University School of International Service, with a concentration in US Foreign Policy and National Security.
