Charlie earned his JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law, graduating summa cum laude. While completing his studies, he externed in the chambers of two federal judges, won top awards in three moot court competitions—including the University of Houston Law Center’s Moot Court National Championship—and served as a notes and comments editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Charlie also worked in Kent’s Plaintiff’s Employment Clinic and served as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Graduate Fellow at the Federal Defender for the Northern District of Illinois.
Prior to law school, Charlie was a homepage editor and reporter for the Chicago Tribune.
