Carson Smith is an associate in Jenner & Block’s Litigation Practice.
As a summer associate at Jenner, Carson conducted legal research and composed memos on a variety of topics, as well as assisted in preparation of affidavits in English for a pro bono matter. Prior to joining the firm, Carson clerked for the Honorable Sidney R. Thomas on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Carson earned her JD from Stanford Law School, where she was symposium editor for the Stanford Law Review, a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, and co-president of the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA). She also served in Stanford's Native Law Pro Bono Project and Environmental Law Clinic.
