On March 20, 2026, Jenner & Block secured a trial victory for Chancelor J. Bennett, known as Chance the Rapper, in a multi-year, high-profile breach of contract dispute with his former manager, Patrick Corcoran.
Partner Precious Jacobs-Perry was admitted to the US Supreme Court bar alongside 11 other lawyers from the Black Women Lawyers Association of Greater Chicago (BWLA), a professional bar association committed to supporting and empowering Black women in the legal profession. Cook County Judge Chloe Pedersen moved for their admission, marking the first time BWLA has been admitted as a group. Admission qualifies lawyers to argue before the highest court in the nation, which shapes US law and policy.

Jenner & Block Partners Precious Jacobs-Perry and Howard S. Suskin will present at the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) 2021 Class Action Litigation symposium on May 26, 2021.
