Jenner & Block Partner Terri Mascherin was elected to the Board of Regents of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyer’s (ACTL) at the College’s 2024 Annual Meeting held September 26-29 in Nashville, Tennessee. Approximately 900 Fellows and guests from across North America gathered to discuss issues important to the profession, induct 88 new Fellows, and elect seven new Officers.
The ACTL is recognized as the leading trial lawyers’ organization in the United States and Canada. After careful investigation, Fellowship is extended only by invitation to experienced trial lawyers whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province in North America.
Terri has been an ACTL Fellow since 2013 and is recognized as one of the most influential trial and arbitration lawyers in the United States. Serving as a Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and Education Practice, she offers businesses, law firms, lawyers, and institutions of higher education a full array of litigation tools to confront high-stakes challenges in court.
Jenner & Block counts among its current ranks 10 Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers: David J. Bradford, Jeffrey D. Colman, William D. Heinz, Terri Mascherin, Michael McNamara, Harry J.
