“The Future of the Right to Privacy Post-Dobbs,” Chicago Bar Association
Jenner & Block Partner Terri Mascherin will moderate a panel for the Chicago Bar Association’s 150thAnniversary that will provide a historical overview of the legal landscape both pre and post Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
The panelists – Dean Linda Greene of Michigan State Law School, Colleen Connell of ACLU Illinois, and Camilla Taylor of Lambda Legal – will discuss “the long-term, systematic dismantling of Roe which presaged the eventual decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization,” how the Dobbs decision has impacted “equal protection, liberty, and privacy jurisprudence,” and the consequences that this has had and may have in the future on reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights.
The hybrid event has an in-person and webinar option and is taking place on November 6 at 3 pm CT.
