On February 27, Special Counsel Ali Alsarraf joined the USC Gould School of Law International Human Rights Clinic for a wide-ranging conversation about international human rights litigation, pro bono work, and work-life balance. He gave an overview of the high impact work being done by Jenner & Block’s Human Rights and Global Strategy Practice and our National Security, Sanctions, and Export Controls Practice, including matters concerning human rights, foreign relations, international law, and claims against foreign states. Ali also discussed the diverse pro bono opportunities available at large firms and at Jenner & Block in particular. He also offered his experience in maintaining excellence in a high performing role at a firm while balancing other responsibilities outside of the workplace.
