“Running for Office,” UCLA Law’s American Constitution Society Chapter

On March 12, Partner Dawn Smalls will participate in a panel discussion on running for office. The panel is hosted by the UCLA Law American Constitution Society’s student chapter. Ms. Smalls and her fellow panelists, who have all run for or occupied public office, will speak to current students about their experience as candidates in public elections. Topics discussed will include: the decision to run, how their law degrees helped in their campaign, and how to put together a campaign.
