Jenner & Block Partner Ambassador Keith Harper, co-chair of the firm’s Native American Law Practice, joined Dartmouth for a conversation on human rights. The event was part of a series in recognition of Dartmouth’s commitment to the education of Native American and Indigenous students. Ambassador Harper, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, is the first Native American to be named a US Ambassador, serving as US Permanent Representative to the UN Human Rights Council from 2014 to 2017. From 2010 to 2014, Ambassador Harper served on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. Today, Ambassador Harper serves as chair of Jenner & Block’s Native American Law Practice.
