Partner Howard Suskin to Speak at ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice

On Friday, March 20, 2026, Howard Suskin, Co-Chair of the firm’s Investor and Securities Litigation Practice and the Class Action Practice, will speak on a panel at the American Bar Association Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice on the topic of “Building a Civil Rights Practice.”

Howard will be speaking as part of ABA’s Civil Rights Boot Camp 2.0. 

For attorneys who want to take on civil rights matters but don’t know where to start, this session will demystify the process. Panelists will discuss how cases come to them, how they evaluate whether to take a matter, and what resources exist for practitioners who may lack institutional backing.

Ranked Band 1 in Securities Litigation by Chambers USA, Howard has substantial first-chair experience defending clients in class actions, derivative suits, insider trading investigations, and regulatory proceedings before the SEC and self-regulatory organizations. He maintains an active pro bono practice, serves as General Counsel for the Chicago Bar Association, and is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive and Investment Committees of the ACLU of Illinois.
