Lex Mundi Cross-Border Investigations Panel held in Barcelona

We are excited to announce that on 7 November, Partners Rob Dalling and Shreve Ariail will be presenting at the Lex Mundi CBI meeting in Barcelona.

Rob will participate in a panel discussion on “Pretrial Release for Foreign White Collar Defendants”. After more than a decade as a trial lawyer, prosecuting and defending in serious criminal cases, Rob now serves international companies in sectors including energy, extractive, financial services, medical, hospitality, and real estate across the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and beyond. His practice covers investigations and compliance advice, as well as representation in regulatory and criminal proceedings.

Shreve Ariail, Co-Chair of the firm’s National Security and Crisis Practice, will discuss key developments in US-led cross-border national security investigations on a panel entitled: “Issues arising in Disputes and Investigations Involving State Entities as well as State Interference”.  Shreve is a former Deputy General Counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency and senior national security prosecutor who helps companies and individuals in the private sector navigate white-collar criminal defense, national security, corporate crises, and cyber matters. He regularly conducts internal investigations, and he advises clients on money laundering, sanctions, export control, material support to terrorism, securities and financial fraud, criminal anti-trust, foreign interference in US elections, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), mutual legal assistance, extradition, and other international law enforcement matters.
