Co-Managing Partner Randy Mehrberg Co-Chairs the Chicago Bar Foundation's 2026 Investing in Justice Campaign

Co-Managing Partner Randy Mehrberg is serving as co-chair of the Chicago Bar Foundation's (CBF) 2026 Investing in Justice Campaign alongside Laura Stein, General Counsel of Mondelēz International, Inc. This year's program marks the first time in the Campaign's history that it will be led by co-chairs, a distinction that coincides with the initiative's 20th anniversary. On May 5, Jenner & Block hosted the Campaign's kickoff event at its Chicago office.

The Investing in Justice Campaign is the CBF's annual initiative that unites Chicago's legal community around a shared commitment to access to justice for all residents. Each year, thousands of individual lawyers and legal professionals at more than 130 Chicago-area law firms, corporate legal departments, and other law-related organizations participate. One hundred percent of individual contributions support the work of more than 30 pro bono and legal aid organizations, enabling them to provide legal assistance to tens of thousands of people in need across the region.

The anniversary carries particular meaning for Jenner & Block. The firm was among the 20 founding organizations that launched the Campaign in 2007 — also at its Chicago office — with Partner Tony Valukas serving as its first Chair. Randy's co-chairship follows in the footsteps of Tony and the many leaders who have led the Campaign in the years since. This year, the Campaign's impact again will be further amplified by the CBF's foundation and government partners, and every dollar donated this year will generate $2 in grants and support for legal aid organizations across the region.
