Jenner & Block Partner Keith M. Harper will join this conversation, a celebration of American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. This educational experience will examine the fierce resiliency of the American Indians and Alaska Natives and how we can be genuine allies to the Indigenous communities. Ambassador Harper, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, is the first Native American to be named a US Ambassador, serving as US Permanent Representative to the UN Human Rights Council from 2014 to 2017. From 2010 to 2014, Ambassador Harper served on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. Today, Ambassador Harper serves as chair of Jenner & Block’s Native American Law Practice.
