Kate Fintel assists diverse clients through complex litigation and investigations. She also advises and defends pro bono clients in the civil and criminal contexts. 

Kate brings her prior litigation experience to her current practice. As a law student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, she represented currently and formerly incarcerated individuals on Section 1983 claims as part of the MacArthur Justice Center’s Civil Rights Litigation Clinic. Kate also served as a research and teaching assistant for Communications & Legal Reasoning and as the professional development chair for the Women’s Leadership Coalition. Prior to law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal at another major Chicago-based law firm, where she assisted an automotive manufacturer client through a significant product liability matter. Kate also helped school districts navigate changing education laws and disputes as a paralegal at a mid-sized Chicago firm.
