Jenner & Block has received numerous awards over the years for its pro bono and public service efforts.  Some of the most recent awards to the Firm and its attorneys are detailed below.

In addition, Jenner & Block created the Albert E. Jenner, Jr. Pro Bono Award to recognize persons who have provided exceptional legal services to the needy.  The winners receive a $5,000 award that they may donate to the charity or charities of their choice.

Anders for their work on behalf of a Death Row client, Richard Morales, in which they are challenging the constitutionality of California’s lethal injection procedure. At the award ceremony – Mr. Steinken and Senator George McGovern, recipient of the DPF’s 2007 Human Rights Award.
