Jenner & Block Associate Marilyn J. Chimes will speak at the Western Veterinary Conference’s 77th Annual Conference to be held February 20-24 at the Mandalay Bay Resort Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Western Veterinary Conference is one of the largest conferences for veterinarians in the world. Ms. Chimes will lead a February 20 session entitled, “Compounding: Legal Issues,” in which she will help veterinary practitioners understand the laws governing brand name, generic and compounded drug products, and explain how to keep drug compounding activities from resulting in undesirable legal consequences. This session is part of a symposium to be presented by a panel including other veterinarians and a pharmacist that will also include extensive audience discussion.
