Jenner & Block’s Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law Practice is one of the most dynamic in the country.  We practice in many specialized and complex areas.  We frequently represent clients in litigation, regulatory matters, permit proceedings, due diligence investigations, audits, toxic tort litigation, insurance recovery proceedings and a variety of corporate transactions.  Our web page contains numerous web links and over 100 full-text articles authored by members of the Practice Area concerning the substantive areas of our practice.  Many of the attorneys in our practice are also members of the Firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice and are deeply involved in representing our clients in the multitude of rapidly developing legal issues related to climate change.

We help clients solve—and often avoid—their problems by providing a full range of legal services from regulatory and transactional advice through trial and appeal.  Our multi-disciplinary approach allows efficient and comprehensive solutions for clients interested in, or impacted by, energy needs and innovations.  Our lawyers understand both legal and business issues involved in safeguarding and advocating our clients’ interests as they use and have an impact on natural, human, and synthetic resources.  Our department has attorneys who have experience in all areas of environmental, energy, and natural resources law.
