Appellate and Supreme Court Practice Experience
Jared O. Freedman graduated from Harvard College, magna cum laude, in 1991, and from Yale Law School in 1997. His Supreme Court practice has recently included drafting an amicus brief to the United States Supreme Court on the constitutionality of federal legislation regulating speech on the World Wide Web, and drafting an amicus brief to the United States Supreme Court for educational associations related to application of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Mr. Freedman has also handled appeals in state courts, including drafting a brief in a contract dispute in Massachusetts, and drafting an amicus brief in a civil liberties matter in Virginia.
