Tobias L. Mr. Knapp’s experience includes counseling corporate clients and their boards on a range of corporate transactions and corporate governance matters.  He has led transactions in a number of industries, including Automotive, Clean Energy, Defense & Aerospace, Financial Services, Investment Management, Media, and Technology.

Mr. Knapp also advises private equity and asset management clients on a variety of private fund and portfolio company transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of portfolio company interests, growth equity and venture capital investments, and the formation of private investment funds.

Mr. Knapp is a member of the Firm’s Securities and M&A Practices, and Co-Chair of the Private Equity, Hedge Funds & Investment Management Practice.  He currently serves as Co-Chair of the New York office Hiring Committee and as a member of the Firm-wide Hiring Executive and Finance Committees.  Proficient in Russian, Mr. Knapp has experience working in Russia and other CIS states, and in the European Union.  Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Knapp practiced corporate and securities law at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York.
