Nicholas A. Kurk practices in complex commercial litigation involving a variety of substantive areas of law. These include information technology outsourcing and other complex business agreements, intellectual property, bankruptcy litigation, and internal corporate and government investigations.
Mr. Kurk is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation, Technology Litigation, and Bankruptcy Litigation Practices. In 2010, Mr. Kurk was part of the Jenner & Block trial team that obtained a $61.7 million jury verdict for a major chemical company in the District of Delaware. The verdict was affirmed on appeal. Most recently, Mr. Kurk spent a significant amount of time working on a large-scale commercial arbitration and investigating a data breach.
In addition to his private practice, Mr. Kurk has done a variety of pro bono work. Mr. Kurk is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
