Eugene R. Hsia is an associate in the Corporate Department and has represented public and private clients in a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, securities law reporting, and general corporate matters.
His recent experience includes the representation of General Dynamics Corporation in its acquisition of Metro Machine Corp., a leading East Coast surface-ship repair company. Additionally, Mr. Hsia was a part of a transactional team that represented leading pharmaceutical supplier Lonza Group Ltd in its $1.2 billion acquisition of global biocides company Arch Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Hsia is a member of the Firm’s Associates Committee.
In addition to his private practice, Mr. Hsia actively participates in the Firm’s pro bono program and has advised not-for-profit corporations on a variety of formation and corporate governance issues. Mr. Hsia earned his B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. He received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2010. During law school, Mr. Hsia worked as a legal extern at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he worked in the Division of Trading and Markets. He also participated in the GW Law Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic.
