Erica D. Roberts has experience in matters related to securities law, internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation. She recently played a key role in the Firm’s representation of Geostar by settling a contract dispute over a resort in the Dominican Republic.
Ms. Roberts is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. She graduated, magna cum laude, from Oakwood College in 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. She earned a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law. While attending Howard, Ms. Roberts served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Howard Law Journal. She also worked as an intern for the Honorable Jeanette Clark, Superior Court of D.C.
Ms. Roberts is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and a member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago. She also tutors youth at Fairfield Academy with the literacy organization, Working In The Schools (WITS).
