David Z. Moskowitz is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. He concentrates in complex civil litigation, including First Amendment, securities, creative content, communications, and insurance law.
Mr. Moskowitz obtained his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2007, where he graduated Order of the Coif and served as Managing Editor of the Stanford Law Review. From 2007 to 2008, he clerked for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Mr. Moskowitz is actively involved in pro bono matters. He recently represented a human trafficking victim in a civil case against her traffickers and assisted another human trafficking victim in obtaining immigration status from the government. In addition, he has co-authored several pro bono amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court.
