Chester T. Kamin is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and former Chair of the Firm's Litigation Department.  Corporate clients from a variety of industries seek his representation in complex, strategically significant cases related to such areas as antitrust, intellectual property and commercial litigation. He has handled numerous patent infringement and related intellectual property cases for a variety of clients, and defended numerous securities and other class actions.  Mr. Kamin also counsels corporate clients on business and legal strategies relating to competitive issues, corporate control and similar controversies.

Mr. Kamin has been recognized by Chambers USA in the area of Telecommunications, and he has been listed in the past five editions of Best Lawyers in America.  He is AV Peer Review Rated, Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer recognition for ethical standards and legal ability.  Mr. Kamin has written numerous articles for legal publications and lectured on the subjects of antitrust, jury selection, trial practice, civil rights litigation and other topics.  He is a member of the Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation, Antitrust Litigation, and Health Care Litigation Practices.

Mr. Kamin has been active in court reform efforts and bar association activities for many years.  He regularly represents indigent clients as part of his pro bono practice, and he served on the Advisory Board of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation for 19 years.  Mr. Kamin currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Columbia College Chicago.
