Brian S. Hart is Chair of Jenner & Block’s Corporate Finance Practice.  Public and private corporations, major financial institutions, and private equity funds rely on him for help with complex corporate financing matters.  He concentrates his practice on  secured syndicated finance, including senior, second lien and mezzanine financing; 144A senior and subordinated debt offerings; acquisition and recapitalization financing; cross-border financing; equipment lease financing; surety bonding matters; workouts and debt restructurings; debtor-in-possession financing and bankruptcy exit financing; and intercreditor, subordination and domestic and international collateral security matters.

As outside corporate counsel to both public and private companies, Mr. Hart provides advice and counsel on corporate restructurings, joint venture creation and dispute resolution, commercial contracts and general corporate matters.  He has represented clients across a broad range of industries including automotive, construction and engineering, manufacturing, maritime, paper and forest products, health care and medical supply, gaming and transportation.
