Adam R. Kreis is an associate in the Corporate Practice, and focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and compliance, and general corporate matters.
Since joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Kreis has represented a diverse group of clients in a wide variety of transactions. For example, he has represented investors in the formation and capitalization of a start-up company, a large publicly traded company in a $1.5 billion bond offering, and sellers and buyers, both strategic and financial, in various M&A transactions.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kreis worked as a legal assistant with an immigration law firm, where he assisted corporate clients with employment-based immigration matters. Mr. Kreis graduated, summa cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2010. There, he served as Executive Articles Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and worked as a teaching assistant for first-year legal research and writing classes. Mr. Kreis also worked as a research assistant for Professor David Gerber, where he researched and drafted reports on topics related to international antitrust enforcement.
