Orientation Program

Jenner & Block’s Lateral Orientation Program is designed to help attorneys integrate quickly into the Firm.  We want to make sure our new attorneys are meeting people, gaining access to resources and receiving the information and support needed to successfully launch their careers at the Firm.

Upon receipt of an offer as a lateral candidate, one of our Lateral Orientation Program coordinators will be in touch to answer any initial questions about the Firm’s culture, history or policies.  The coordinator can also answer questions about work assignments and explain how associates get work in our system.  Jenner & Block’s Lateral Orientation Program coordinators are:
 


Laterals who join the Firm are assigned a mentor who is responsible for organizing welcome lunches and provides guidance during the lateral’s first three months.

We provide diversity awareness training for all new attorneys.  The Lateral Associate Orientation Program coordinators also host informal offsite lunches to promote networking and provide support.
